Can't find BOSSBEH variables or playtest

I keep getting the error
All compiler errors have to be fixed before you can enter playmode! UnityEditor.SceneView:ShowCompileErrorNotification ()

Can you provide some more details on your error? What commit hash of DMK are you on, what Unity version are you on, and what are the compiler errors that appear in the Unity console?

I'm on latest version of dmk
I'm using the unity 2021.2.1f1, I tried using 2021.3.7f1 at first since I got bugs but that didn't work so i just deleted the folder and extracted the zip file again, then just ran 2021.2.1f1 on it
Same errors for both versions

If there's no other error message, then it's an artifact of the compiler. In this case you should be able to make the error go away by making a modification to the source code and triggering a recompile.

I think there were 3 other errors that also stopped Unity from the play test and more.
I'll find out when I get on Unity but recompiling didn't work too.
