I’m Subham Mahesh, developer of Linkumori (URLs Cleaner) — an open-source, Manifest V3-compatible extension created to continue the mission of ClearURLs by removing tracking elements from URLs while respecting user privacy.
With Manifest V2 being deprecated, I understand ClearURLs may soon be removed from the Chrome Web Store. To avoid disruption for existing users, I would like to respectfully request being added as a group publisher to the ClearURLs listing. This would allow me to publish Linkumori as a seamless update under the existing ClearURLs extension ID.
This way, users would automatically receive the MV3-compatible version without needing to migrate manually. I believe this is a smooth and user-focused approach that keeps the tool active while honoring the foundation you’ve built.
Linkumori is licensed under GPLv3 and stays true to the values of ClearURLs — open source, privacy-first, and community-driven. I will ensure ClearURLs is credited clearly in the project.
Thank you again for your impactful work on ClearURLs. I’d be grateful for the chance to help carry it forward and would love to hear your thoughts on this collaboration.
