Highlight beats, bars or masterbars

Hello,

First of all, I want to express my appreciation for the incredible amount of work behind AlphaTab. Working with it has been a fantastic experience so far!

I’m writing this post to ask if there’s a way to highlight specific bars or masterbars. Currently, the at-cursor-bar class is useful for styling the currently played bar, but I was wondering if there’s a way to specify certain bar indexes for highlighting, maybe using something like at-highlight-bar so we can apply a custom style to them.

My goal is to highlight specific bars to draw the user’s attention to important sections. Similarly, it would be great to have a way to highlight individual beats.

If this is a feature of interest, I’d be more than happy to contribute and work on it myself.

Its not directly supported out-of-the-box. But you can obtain any position of beats, bars and masterbars and place some custom overlays accordingly. Just use the boundsLookup. Just saw that the docs could again use a bit polishing but generally the information is there:
