I recommend changing the parameter translateNewNodesTimerHandler = setInterval(translateNewNodes, 2000) to 500 and setTimeout(translationRoutine, 300) to 100.
However, it's possible that it only started working better for me.

This extension isn’t working properly on this website—much of the text isn’t being translated. On desktop, if I click the “Improve Translation” button and select the source language, the problem is resolved and the entire page translates normally. Unfortunately, the Android version has no such option.

There’s another issue: the site offers content in two variants—Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. If I switch languages on the website itself, the extension doesn’t detect the change, even after I refresh the page.
