The following error occurred during the process of updating the isort version.

The cause is recognized as the value of "tool.poetry.extras.pipfile_deprecated_finder[2]" in pyproject.toml updated in version v5.11.3, "pip-shims<=0.3.4".

I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to solve this error.

I can confirm I am experiencing this issue as well using the pre-commit configurations suggested in the docs.

For anyone else experiencing this, as a workaround, I am using a local strategy that seems to work:

fail_fast: true
repos:
- repo: local
  hooks:

    - id: pyink
      name: pyink
      entry: poetry run pyink
      language: system
      types: [file, python]
      files: '^my_local_module_name/'

    - id: isort
      name: isort
      entry: poetry run isort
      language: system
      types: [file, python]
      files: '^my_local_module_name/'

NOTE: the pyink hook is to get isort to work in conjunction with the pyink formatter (a fork of black). However for those just using isort you can remove the pyink hook.
