Forward Renderer can not be found

Hello, I am trying to follow the Tutorial and learn how to use this tool. I have met a problem that the 'Forward Renderer' file cannot be found. I have check the officeal website URP, the lateast version 12.1.7 do not have such file.

Can somebody please tell me how to fix this issue?

This has also been my experience. I'm curious to hear what happened to it. Any updates to these tutorials that reflect changes would be greatly appreciated.

Hey @jeffwangyun and @timatom, there were a few changes introduced with Unity 2021 and 2022 that affected the flow of our tutorials. With the latest release of 🎉 Perception 1.0 🎉 , we have reworked and revamped our documentation (including the tutorial) to work with newer Unity versions.

There are a bunch of cool features to check out such as ray tracing, depth, a new output format SOLO, normals, and more! Here is the full list of changes: Perception 1.0 Changelog

Small note since I saw that you're using URP @jeffwangyun, we have deprecated URP in favor of HDRP to prioritize cutting edge rendering technologies such as path tracing.

where could I find the updated documentation, including exporting depth maps? :)

The main page should be your best bet @mshooter, you might have to poke around though 😄 There's a new features page over here with more in-depth information.

There isn't explicit documentation for the depth maps. It's just a new labeler so when you add a new labeler to the PerceptionCamera component, you'll see it there. Feel free to ping me if you run into issues!
