Compatibility Report

  • Name of the game with compatibility issues:

"Putrika 1st.cut:The Reason She Must Perish"

  • Steam AppID of the game: (3466500)

System Information

  • Steam Deck OLED

Steam Version: 1747772770

  • BIOS Version: F7G0112

  • Kernel version: 6.11.11-valve14-1neptune-611-g96885212a919

  • Link to full system information report as Gist:

  • Proton version: 10.0-1

I confirm:

  • [ ✅ ] that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.

  • [ ✅ ] that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.

Symptoms

• FPS Limiter in SteamOS(Game Mode) does not limit FPS, it seems to cause more Frame Pacing problems if left enabled.

• Crashing has also been obvserved with "ACCESS VIOLATION" messages.

(Reproduction is unqiue, but will look into once I gather more data)

Reproduction

Step 1: Set FPS Limit

Step 1(a): Set Performance Overlay to Level 4

Step 2: Launch Game

Step 3: Observe data, FPS Ignored.

Step 4: Start Novel

Step 5: Frametimes are all over the place, even during a still frame.

^(Likely because there are not alot of Light.VN / Soul Engine products on Steam)

Will update this post within 24hrs to add additional log data & useful information from the crash reports saved by the Engine.
