Pre-command requirement?

I've read through the docs, and don't seem to find any way to do the following:

goprog [alpha|staging|prod] [command] [subcommands]

An example

./goprog alpha info
./goprog staging info
./goprog prod update 1.7.0

The idea being that the target environment (alpha,staging,prod) must be specified before any command, then in some cases there are additional commands you could use.

I've only been able to also define each potential environment as a command, which looks weird and is cumbersome to manage. Is there a way to do this?
