After installing my cordovaapp, I am unable to use QRScanner on a real machine

I am using Xiaomi or Huawei phones, and I am unable to call QRScanner during real phone debugging. Why is that? The display is' is not defined ', but I have already added this plugin and rebuilt the platform, but it still doesn't work

@Adrxking until which SDK version were you able to compile the app? did it work on version 33?

Finally i had to use this repo https://github.com/likesistemas/cordova-plugin-qrscanner which has support for newer SDK versions, using it on version 35 rn

@Adrxking thanks a lot for sharing, i am obliged, you spared time and respond, but unfortunately, despite of your kind gesture, i could not make the suggested plugin work as desired, i was testing on Samsung devices, but QRScanner.scan() function never triggered. tried lot many work-arounds, tried logging specific errors to console, tried debugging through adb logcat but no luck, so finally had to use phonegap-plugin-barcodescanner.
