What about the SSL UF-8?

Would it be difficult to create a script for SSL UF-8?
I do not undestand why no one has created a script for this unit.

Hey @susyquark,
you're the first one to ask for an UF-8 script, but I think it should be straight-forward (only that I don't own an SSL UF-8 and hence can't test it myself). Are you interested to help out with feedback once I get to building an UF-8 script variant?

Of course I can help you with anything you need, the current behaviour with the different layers, testing the script of course, etc..

For me, there are a few must-have:
1- Auto banking (the unit follows the track selection). Now I hate the need of inserting an ssl plugin for working in "plugin mode" that allows autobanking.
2- Color tracks. (metering is secondary but useful to see quickly where there is signal).
3- Sends.
4- Zoom
....
....
It can be a it straight-forward without the unit but we can try.
I think the UF-8 has a lot of potential for script creation.
