when I overwrite visit I cannot chain the originalFn

When overwriting the visit command I am unable to call other cypress commands from the originalFn.then promise.

Cypress.Commands.overwrite('visit', (originalFn, url: string, options?: Partial<VisitOptions>) => {
  originalFn(url, options).then(window => {
    if (window.location.pathname === '/sso/SSOServlet') {
      cy.login(options)
    }
  });
});

I get this error:

Cypress detected that you returned a promise from a command while also invoking one or more cy commands in that promise.

The command that returned the promise was:

  > cy.visit()

The cy command you invoked inside the promise was:

  > cy.get()

I'm not sure what the exact issue is here. How can originalFn be made chainable?

I've seen the same. Doing cy.then(() => originalFunc works but it seems really wrong. In addition it starts messing up command logging.
