Support for multi colored SVGs

I'm having some issues with nesting svg-objects that are multicolored to represent various types of cuts on a lasercutter (Ie. black for outer contours, blue for inner contours, red for engraving, green for etching etc.).

• Etchings that are closed curves are picked up as holes in the parts (and small parts are placed inside)
• The color information is partly lost when exporting

Not sure if this is a bug or a feture 😺 so starting it as a discussion.
A solution (at least from a UI perspective) would be to allow the selection of which colors are cuts and which are "decorative".

thanks for this discussion.

No difference is currently made, regardless of which colour is used for the outline, it is always evaluated as a "section". Therefore, no colour is saved and restored for the outline.

So it is not currently a bug in this sense, even if you can make a feature request for it.

At the moment, I don't see the possibility of tackling this, at least not before v2.
