No, you're absolutely right. The numbers are not shown because some operators have many memberships, and adding another piece of information (the number) would make the line very long. I tested it with the numbers, and it seemed to me that it provided too much information for the operator. I think it's more important for the operator to know what they are a member of and whether this club is already confirmed than to know the number of a specific operator. But I could be wrong. Please give me an example when they would need to know the number as well. |

The problem is not displaying the data but storing it somewhere. Officially, ADIF only supports a few membership fields (FISTS, SKCC, UKSMG). For others, there is no defined field, so each application handled it in its own way, making portability nearly impossible. I think adding a new field for, for example SKCC ,would not be a problem as it would be automatically filled in - QLog can define new fields dynamically, so you can add and remove them according to your interest in the activity. The problem is with the other clubs. |

Hi all, I recently started to migrate to QLog - fantastic program for everyday logging.
Is there a way to show club membership numbers?
So rather than just "FISTS LoTW SKCC", I'm thinking "FISTS #1234 LoTW SKCC #123456". Or am I missing something?
Andy
