LOTW + station profiles #648

I don’t typically operate from different states but I do operate from different Parish’s here in Louisiana some times. I create a new station location for each QTH. I then also create locations in TQSL for each location. I just make it a habit to upload all QSOs before I switch station locations.

I am not totally sure how station profiles + LOTW is supposed to work. My guess is that a new station profile will set the MY_XXX fields to set a different grid square (for example) instead of relying on multiple LOTW locations in TQSL. Is that correct? If so, that seems ok, but there does not seem to be any provision for state? I see here that there is a MY_STATE field (https://lotw.arrl.org/lotw-help/developer-submit-qsos/?lang=en) defined for adif that has some specific enumerated values for states based on DXCC codes (not always actual states as it is for the US). But best I can tell there's no way to specify a state in your profile and the ADIFs from QLog (at least from Logbook/Export) do not appear to have a MY_STATE field.
Ultimately the question is how do you operate in a different state and make sure those QSOs are logged properly in LOTW as the correct state and not your home state that is specified in your default TSQL location?
