Footer Links Opening in a New Tab

By default, when inserting markdown code in the footer, there is no option to add links with the "blank" target. However, on this website https://canalinternodeinformacion.sanidad.gob.es/#/, they manage to do it. How could this be achieved?

Actually withing globaleaks we take care of setting the blank target on any link added via markdown.
You could just add a a link normally and it will receive automatically add that option and also the rel="noopener noreferrer" options.

This happens normally on the latest software version. Which version are you using?

We are using software version 5.0.62, and I have integrated the following text into the footer:
[Sistema Interno de Información](https://secretariageneral.ugr.es/areas-gestion/sistema-interno-informacion), but it opens in the same page.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thank you @LadyLois , i confirm this is a bug, we are vertifying what caused the regression and we will include the remediation in a minor release 5.0.63

Hola a mi me pasa lo mismo he añadido un enlace con Markdown usando la mismo sintaxis pero el en lace no funciona y tengo la ultima versión
