Sorry for the late reply, I thought I had answered but must have forgotten to post the comment...

Are you using any particular styles, custom strings, custom font? What device are you using? I have tested myself on Android 9 & 10 before and have encountered no such issue. Can you try using Android Studio's layout inspector to see if the button is visible and placed correctly in the layout?
