About using this in a big app now

I have been playing with these components for a little now and I like it to say the least. I have some minor concerns in the back of my head with using it right now because it is not fully developed yet. But, I like the look of it so much that I think that I may just start developing my big app with it, making my own components where none are made yet, and then filling it in as material web develops. Also, I hope that this project stays for a long time. Based off of my points, I hope you can see where I worry slightly about using this even though I want to and probably will. Any other thoughts?
