logging in to microsoft resources does not work #1115

Does this occur consistently? <! yes>
Repro steps:

log in with 'sign in to azure' with right credentials
get no error
it keeps saying 'sign in to azure'
but on in the tab accounts it says im signed in to microsoft
i tried:

reinstalling all extentions
logging out

what seems to help is use classic microsoft log in, in stead of msal

Version: 0.10.9
OS: win32
OS Release: 10.0.26100
Product: Visual Studio Code
Product Version: 1.99.0
Language: en

Hi, try this fix that was suggested in this VS Code thread: microsoft/vscode#240307 (comment)

Delete the directory: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\IdentityCache
Try signing in with msal again

If those don't work, then please file a new issue on the VS Code repository. https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues
