Top/Bottom Panels Mode

Please consider adding the possibility to arrange the two file panels one above the other (top/bottom), instead of only side-by-side (left/right). This is useful on portrait displays, or when working with long filenames.

Sorry if this was already requested before, I have done a search for similar discussions and didn't find anything.

Feature specifics:

1. Option to toggle between horizontal (side-by-side) and vertical (top/bottom) panel layouts via menu, command palette, or keyboard shortcut.
2. Remember the last used layout per window or globally.
3. Allow resizing the panels’ height (in vertical mode) with a draggable splitter.

Vertical panel layouts are available in several other dual-panel file managers:

1. Midnight Commander (macOS / *nix)
2. FAR Manager (Far2L is available for macOS)
3. Double Commander (available for macOS, this feature is called "Horizontal panels mode")
4. Wondows-only managers: Total Commander, Directory Opus, Altap Salamander,
5. Linux: Dolphin and maybe others

Adding this feature would make file management more flexible and ergonomic for different workflows and screen setups. Thank you for considering this enhancement!

Hey, this functionality should be relatively straightforward to implement.
Though, apart from the mechanical layout, it's also a question of titles, hotkeys and other pesky details.
If somebody wants it strongly enough - pull requests are welcome.

I can help addressing all the questions about the pesky details.
Didn't understand about the titles.
Hotkeys should stay the same.
The Left panel goes to top, the Right goes to bottom. The logic is straightforward: we read/write from left to right and from top to bottom.

Unfortunately, I can't do pull requests.
