Arduino OPTA compatibility

You can program the Arduino opta as normally.

For built-in WiFi module, you can include the WiFi.h and WiFiSSLClient.h and use WiFiSSLClient class for SSL client like the following.

Hi,thanks for the support.
if i can get the code working i will prepare a step by step guide for all those who use arduino OPTA

the code work on ESP32 but not on OPTA board.

This is the error:

It is the Arduino WiFiSSLClient issue.

If you are new to Arduino board that has built-in WiFi module and SSL networking. You have to update your database server/ root CA SSL certificate.

For Arduino opta, you have to read its manual for how to.

For Root CA certificate upload for opta. it can be complicated which you should follow this documentation.

I don't have Arduino Opta and I'm not sure that the file certificates.h from this link as shown in the documentation above will work for Google server.

You may convert the Google Root CA certificate PEM (base64) file format to the byte array as in certificates.h and test it.

And in the FirebaseClient library installation folder, you may have to update file src/core/Network.h.

You can download GTS Root R1 or GTS Root R2 PEM file from https://pki.goog/repository/

Then convert PEM file to byte array and change the cacert_pem_len in certificates.h to the total byte count.
