I will be supporting v3 until there is a smooth migration path from v3 to v4. There will most likely be no feature releases/minor semver changes. Focus will be on bug fixes.

I will try to keep this thread up to date.

Current plan:

v3.5.7 -> v3.9.0

• API stability
• deprecate certain options.* and recommend new ones to ease migration to v4
• backport nice v4 features

v3.9.0 -> v4

• Migration should be super simple if above steps are implemented correctly
