Updating InfluxDB version

Hello! We have been using OMD and we've noticed that InfluxDB is on version 1.8.10, which has been deprecated for a few years. Is there any plan to update to the latest version?

no, there are no plans to update influxdb to version 2 or later. Instead we recommend to use victoriametrics as storage engine.

Thanks for the reply! Seems like victoriametrics also needs InfluxDB + Nagflux to work, we couldnt manage to get it work without it turned on

victoriametrics requires nagflux to write performance data into it, but influxdb is not required in this case.
