Color palette not applying on the Categories background color - Patch

The color palette works in the Customizer panel with Live preview but when I publish and visit the website, the categories have the default yellow background color.

On top of this, hovering over the menu items triggers a weird yellow flash - it seems the background color does not change for the nav-menu either.

I'm using WP 5.8.3, Patch 1.6.1, and Customify 2.10.4
