Bug description

I've been using the editor a lot recently and I found this very annoying bug that sometimes jumpscares me when I'm trying to map. It seems like it has to do with pausing the editor which causes fruits to instantly appear on your catcher. Really destroys your ears and is very easy to recreate.

I've attached a few examples of what I mean.

The first vid is what happened to me the most. Frequent pausing during editing which eventually led to fruits randomly being caught on your catcher with sometimes no notes even there.
Edit: Got a better vid for it.

The second and third vid are the same mostly. If you CTRL-A or select all the notes on the timeline and then deselect it, the editor thinks all the notes are still there and bunches them all up on your catcher, causing a really loud collect noise. Makes it really hard to edit hitsounds, like seen in the second video, when you're met with that loud collect noise in response...

Could you please provide a step by step process I can use to make this happen? Using your explanation I can't reproduce the issue.

Something like this:

  1. Seek to 30 seconds
  2. Select all objects
  3. Seek to 1 minute
  4. Hit play

I've uploaded a YouTube video explaining how I got the bug to happen, hopefully that explains it better.
https://youtu.be/JJiaOdmj6WU

If you can't watch that, then I'll try my best to summarize how I get the bug to occur.

For the first bug:

  1. You have to be editing a map for a decent amount of time.
  2. You have to pause, play, and rewind in the map frequently.
  3. After that, you will periodically get times where the catcher randomly catches all previous fruits.

For the second bug:

  1. Go into the editor for any song.
  2. Skip to the end of the song.
  3. Select all notes with CTRL-A.
  4. Deselect notes.
  5. Hit play.

Side note, I don't think the first bug is easy to recreate unless you've been mapping the song for some time. Every time I encountered the problem though, it was always because I did those first two steps.

Closes ppy#32615.

We'll see what mappers say to this. I'm guessing no one will complain as
it makes the editor less busy with lighting flashes and combo counters.
