Fullscreen back to window crash on wayland

Fullscreen does work on wayland but when going from fullscreen back to a window and then try moving the window punes crashes

I tried on archlinux VM with wayland and I can't recreate the problem. Can you give me more information? What distribution do you use? What desktop? Are you using the puNES flatpak or did you compile it yourself? The more information you can give me the better chance I have to identify the problem.

Tried the Appimage both on Wayland and X11 (Opensuse TW 15.6, Plasma 6.2.2, Nvidia drivers)
While it does not crash on Wayland, it refuses to go to pure fullscreen with Alt+Enter as the rewind, degrees and save-load menu is visible. Also when launching the first time, video scale window works fine, however afterwards it has issues. After setting it to 6x and re-entering the menu, buttons 1x-6x refuse to shrink or resize the window. They only change color from grey to clickable dark grey simultaneously, without shrinking the video.
While video filters work fine. Only way to change it is via the cfg file.
No such issues on X11. Though on X11 it is not possible to move the application window at all. It stays on the top left.

If you have the possibility could you try this branch https://github.com/punesemu/puNES/tree/Qt6Default? It's necessary to compile the sources and by default I look for Qt6 (which supports Wayland better).

This does indeed work better (using the appimage) as theres no crash for me. Few quirks though, when going into fullscreen, all the menu still show. When using alt-enter to go fullscreen the image is ok and when alt-return back to a window the image is ok but when using the maximize and restore buttons at the top right of the emulator window (the standard minimize, restore and exit buttons) the screen shows a stretch image within a window

You can't use the Appimage, since it's a test branch it's not created. The one you're testing is the Appimage of the master branch that doesn't contain any of the changes I've applied. You need to compile the sources. If you want a hand to do it contact me.

Firstly when i try to clone https://github.com/punesemu/puNES/tree/Qt6Default it says

thank you. This seems to work fine after compiling except there is a green line around the punes window. Is this intentional?

Yes, for now every window have a border with different color.

This version supports native fullscreen and windowed fullscreen, is there a chance to test both and tell me if they work?
