Authentication and authorization support in Prometheus

Hi team,
Prometheus will replace management API for metrics collection in version 4.0. However, at the moment, users can only protect the Prometheus metrics endpoint with SSL peer verification (documentation). This is not feature parity with what’s available in management API.

Will RabbitMQ support other authentication/authorization schemes in Prometheus before v4.0 release?

On a related note, the old prometheus_rabbitmq_exporter has an option for enabling management auth: prometheus-erl/prometheus_rabbitmq_exporter@9351ff6
