Would love to contribute to this and get it to the point where anyone can use it. Currently the build product for pico-1, doesn't deploy for main branch and pico228MHz_VpolCore1.

Your pico has the rp2040?
Could you build the ttl2vga.uf2 file with

cd src
mkdir build && cd build
cmake .. -DPICO_SDK_PATH=<path_to_pico_sdk>
make

?
What is your pico SDK version?

Or do you mean the assembly and wiring?
