Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Scanning barcodes with the built-in Apple framework is notoriously difficult, specially given that the labels are on curved surfaces.

Describe the solution you'd like
Please look into licensing a 3rd party barcode scanning product, such as Scandit. I tried their barcode reader app and it read my bottles (even one with a misprinted code) superfast.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Maybe using Apple's ML Vision framework?

Additional context
Scandit has a Free Community Edition, given the use case and volume maybe PaintMyMinis would qualify
