Description
Hey there,
I´m looking to test participants´ working memory performance using the corsi block and digit span task hosted on your server. I´ve been having some isses with the randomization. I believe there are two options, none or full randomisation. The issue I have with full randomisation is that the length of stimulus sequences is not counterbalanced. So, for example, for some participants there will be 20% of trials with sequence length X while for others it will be 30%. That´s problematic for the way im trying to analyze performance. For example, if performance is the span in the corsi block (as in length of longest correctly remembered sequence), being allowed 3 tries instead of 2 for a given sequence length would make sucessfull completion of that sequence easier. I was wondering if it´s possible to fix the number of trials for the different sequence lengths between participants while still hosting the experiment on your server. Ideally, if I employ 12 corsi block trials, I could specifiy that 4 are of length 5, 4 of length 6 and 4 of length 7 for every participant.
Thanks for the awesome tool you´ve created btw!
Cheers,
Laurin
