Description

Update to gemini-2.5-flash from gemini-2.0-flash. This file is referenced in https://cloud.google.com/vertex-ai/generative-ai/docs/start/quickstart?usertype=adc#googlegenaisdk_textgen_with_txt-go_genai_sdk nd the Python SDK example refers to gemini-2.5-flash. Summary of Changes

Hello @laxmi-genai, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request updates a Go sample to utilize a newer version of the Gemini model, ensuring consistency with current documentation and other SDK examples. The change specifically targets the textgen_with_txt.go file, upgrading the hardcoded model name to reflect the latest recommended gemini-2.5-flash model.

Highlights

  • Model Version Update: Updates the textgen_with_txt.go sample to use the gemini-2.5-flash model instead of gemini-2.0-flash-001. This change aligns the Go sample with the latest recommended model version as referenced in official documentation and Python SDK examples.

Consider defining the model name as a constant to improve maintainability. This avoids hardcoding the string directly in the GenerateContent call.
