I have put my thought in refactoring reducers and mixins. In some cases i have updated the tests relative to new functionality that could be added easily to the reducers.
Also notice that when i ignore the arguments of some functions i have replaced all the unused hyperparameters with
*_or**__to follow standard python coding style. Is this pull request satisfactory to solve #587 and #437 ? What could i add to this to further simplify the files?
