Guide: Red Bird
Red Bird is usually the first boss you will face. It drops the very powerful Fire Crystal, which will help you later.
Try to use the Wizard in Town Hall to get Burst III on your weapon, as it will help immensely. 200 Health or more is recommended.
It is recommended to have a Simple Golden Sword or Advanced Steel Sword or better. For Armor, try to have at least 13 / 27 defense, as this will allow you to completely face tank Red Bird.
It is recommended to have a Simple Golden Bow or Advanced Steel Bow or better. For Armor, try to have Steel / Dark Steel or better. Make sure you are wearing a Hood, as Hoods will increase Ranged damage.
It is recommended to have a Simple Golden Staff or Advanced Steel Staff or better. For Armor, try to have Steel / Dark Steel or better. Make sure you are wearing a Hat, as Hats will increase Magic damage.
Red Bird can be easily cheesed in Normal mode by using the fact that it's hitbox is so huge. Simply go behind the tower and go to one side. Red Bird will follow you, and you can shoot it while Red Bird can't shoot you. When Red Bird shoots it's homing fireballs, just walk to the other side. The fireballs will despawn when you reach the other side, and continue. This cheese strategy doesn't work in Expert mode due to the homing projectiles being shot so fast another one is shot right when you reach the other side, allowing you no time to attack. However, staffs can still work as their projectiles home and go through blocks.
In Expert mode, if you have over 27 defense, you can face tank Red Bird. If you are not as tanky however, you should hurt or kill some of the Snow Balls that spawn, then hide in the trees to block most projectiles as the Snow Balls shoot projectiles. Make sure you heal when you need to by pressing [Space]. Try not to move close enough to Red Bird to aggro it. When all of the Snow Balls are dead, now start shooting at Red Bird. If you have enough DPS, you can out-DPS Red Bird. If you don't, just dodge Red Bird's normal fireballs and spin in circles to dodge the homing fireballs.
