This project focuses on the classification of musical genres by analyzing song lyrics. Musical genre classification is a significant challenge in the field of natural language processing (NLP), with numerous applications such as music recommendation systems and the organization of digital music libraries. In this study, a classifier based on the Naive Bayes algorithm has been chosen for its efficiency, simplicity, and effectiveness in handling text data.

The primary goal of this work is to design, implement, and evaluate a model for musical genre classification using the Naive Bayes algorithm in conjunction with cross-validation techniques.
