The 2022 Gujarat Election results were surprising along with an anomaly to the extent that the BJP increased its vote share to the tune of 3% but increased the seat share by whopping more than 30%. This is an attempt to compare with 2017 Gujarat elections, anaylze the results and find reasons for this anomaly.
