Arska saves on your energy bill by demand-side flexibility, i.e. maximizing usage of self-produced (solar) energy and shifting energy purchases to the cheapest hours. Arska version 1.1 can also read directly from the HAN P1 port of new smart energy meters and perform load management.
Arska is a ESP32 based application for reading energy meters, sensors, and controlling switches and battery chargin based on price, energy forecast, and grid (consumption and production) information. Arska gets market and energy forecast data from EntsoE transparency platform, Elering, Open Meteo, and Finnish Meteorological Institute. Arska runs with several ESP32-based devices.
